At Hempy Hands we use a therapeutic grade CBD oil to massage our clients. Cbd’s have been associated with pain relief, relaxation and anti-inflammatory benefits. By reducing pain and inflammation in the muscles, the therapist is able to work more deeply and effectively. This adds to the total relaxation and stress relief experience already present in a traditional massage.
Biofreeze, like icy hot both work under the same principles but have different ways of going about it. The whole idea behind them is to trick the body by occupying the pain signals being sent up to the brain with a different sensation. So, when you injure yourself, or feel pain from inflammation they mask the pain. Instead, CBD has been shown to actually start the healing process by decreasing inflammation and chronic pain, while also helping to regulate the endocrine system and avoid having it become depleted through the day by pain or stress.
CBD is one of at least 113 active cannabiniods identified in cannabis. Cbd’s connect with the cb2 receptors on the skin interacting with the nervous system without eliciting a psychoactive effect. Cbd’s have been shown to have benefits including being analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, anti-nausea, promotes digestive health, anti-epileptic, combats tumor and cancer cells…etc.

Science is showing us that when bodies experience problems such as migraines, fibromyalgia or irritable bowel syndrome, it is related to dysfunction or deficiencies in the endocannabinoid system. This is where CBD’s can help individuals restore balance to their bodies.

Topicals are oils, salves, lotions or gels that have been infused with flowers from the cannabis plant.
To date, topical use has not been associated to a failed drug test.
CBD massage is right for everyone! Since the topical doesn’t enter the bloodstream; people that don’t normally use cannabis may still enjoy its benefits. That being said, cannabis is particularly helpful for people that suffer from daily pain and inflammation. Conditions such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, migraines, recovering skin cancer survivors and many more have benefited from cbd’s.
